StrideOdds (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates strideodds.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your personal data.

2.1 Information You Provide

Account information: Full name, email address, and password when you create an account
Payment information: Billing details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details. We receive and store a tokenized payment method reference and billing status from Stripe.
Custom signals: Any text input you provide to our AI analysis feature (Pro plan) is processed to generate race analysis. This input is stored in association with your account.
Communications: Any messages you send to our support team.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, and interaction patterns within the platform
Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and timestamps
Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics via Vercel Analytics
Saved horses and picks: Race selections and annotations you save within the platform

2.3 Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

Strictly necessary: Authentication session cookies required for your account to function
Analytics: Anonymized usage data collected via Vercel Analytics to help us improve the product

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, doing so may affect your ability to use authenticated features of the Service.

To create and manage your account
To process subscription payments and manage billing
To provide the analytics features of the Service, including generating AI-powered race analysis
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, trial expiry notices, payment receipts)

To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized analytics

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your betting interaction data for advertising purposes.

Account data: Retained for the duration of your subscription and for up to 2 years after account deletion, unless a shorter period is required by law
Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by financial record-keeping obligations
Analytics data: Aggregated analytics data retained indefinitely in anonymized form
Custom AI signals: Retained for the duration of your account. Deleted upon account deletion.
Support communications: Retained for up to 3 years

6. Your Rights (GDPR — EU/EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to our legal retention obligations

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@strideodds.ai. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance (e.g., payment records).

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security on our database, tokenized payment processing via Stripe, and restricted access to production systems. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

10. International Data Transfers

StrideOdds operates from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. For EEA users, such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) in accordance with GDPR requirements.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age (or 21 in jurisdictions requiring that age for gambling-related activities). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us immediately at privacy@strideodds.ai.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
